FOUR-YEAR PROMISES FULFILLED IN TWO YEARS

It`s been two years since constitution of  establishment of the Assembly in new composition and election of new management in the Palilula Municipality. On this occasion, about past activities and the basic directions of further development of the Palilula Municipality, spoke the management of the Municipality at a press conference. A number of implemented projects and the positive business, contracts for building of two factories in the industrial area of Donje Medjurovo and about of possibility for employing are just some of the success of the Palilula Municipality in the past two years, emphasized Prof Dr Igor Novakovic, President of the Municipality.

“We succeed to use the potential of the industrial zone of Donje Medjurovo and to properly present it to the business public. Our strategies and adopted standard of quality in the work of the Administration, as well as the support of the City, only made it more easier and expedite the decision of potential investors. Thanks to two new factories, in next year employment in the territory of our municipality will be increased by 30 percent-said President of Municipality. Novakovic announced that by the end of this year, municipal management  of Palilula will fulfill all the promises that are given to citizens at the beginning of the mandate, and which should be realized within four years.

In the past two years Palilula Municipality, is thanks to the suggestions of the Council` of Citizens, in the Building program made many changes, therefore is much more infrastructure problems successfully solved through this collaboration, said Milan Djurdjevic, president of the Assembly. “In our work, says Milos Stojkovic, a member of the Municipal Council, we tried that Palilula citizens be involved in all activities of the municipality, but also to find out what their needs and problems are”. “I hope that residents of Municipality are satisfied with the work of our Municipal Administration, which has in its work adopted high standards of quality”, said Bojan Ilic, Head of  Municipal Administration of Palilula Municipality. One of the projects that management Palilula is proud of is the opening of Contact Centre “Info 48”, as and improvement  of health care of population by opening health stations and pharmacies in settlements Ledena Stena,  Delijski Vis and Crvena Zvezda.

The greatest success in the field of social protection is expected by implementation of the project which was recently approved to the municipality. It is Increase the capacity of Palilula municipality in the field of social services by creating a sustainable and integrated model of “community care” for vulnerable groups in society, worth about 100,000 euros, emphasized Zorica Stoiljković, the member of Municipal Council.

Successful results in the work of Palilula Municipality management explains with good cooperation between the coalition partners. "Within the coalition rule synergies, so that all important decisions are made unanimously. Just that good cooperation, is one of the prerequisites of our unity and success, "says Novakovic.
